 A Few Things I Found

Recently, I've been banned in Reddit and currently going through some old files again.  I don't really know why I started, but once you begin looking through old folders, it's surprisingly difficult to stop.

Everything seemed normal at first. Random pictures, old notes, unfinished projects, and things that probably should have been deleted years ago.

Eventually, I found a folder I didn't remember creating.

It wasn't anything impressive. There were only a few files inside, and most of them didn't seem useful. I almost ignored it.

Digging through the folder took longer than I expected. Some of the files had strange names, while others didn't have names that made any sense at all.

I found one reference to the numbers I'd seen before. That was enough to make me stop.

There was no explanation beside it. No message. Nothing that actually told me what the numbers meant.

Instead, there was a single word.

I searched for it, but there were far too many results to know whether any of them mattered.

Maybe that was intentional.

Maybe whoever left this behind expected someone to keep searching.

For now, I've stopped.

If this turns out to be nothing, then at least I've wasted an evening looking through things that weren't mine.

If it isn't nothing, then I have a feeling this isn't the last time I'll see that word.

Some things are easier to find once you know what you're looking for.
